Suitability of ROLOfilm XT fixing films

Technical specifications

ROLOfilm XT stretch film stands out thanks to its rapid tensile strength development and very low to zero additional shrinkage on the wrapped pallet. Compared to standard films, ROLOfilm XT achieves up to twice the strength of 70 MPa.

The diagram shows the tensile force (N) as a function of the elongation of the hand-applied stretch film (%) and compares the tensile force of ROLOfilm XT 3 (9 µm) and standard RF 20 (20 µm) stretch film.
The attached diagram shows that ROLOfilm XT 3 fixing film, with its tensile force when applied to pallet wrapping, is completely comparable to RF 20 film.
The diagram shows that with an additional elongation of 50%, the RF 20 film will stretch freely, but the ROLOfilm XT 3 film will respond with increased retention force.
